Here is the first still from Scott's film Barney's Version. The film will be screening on this years Toronto Film Festival. Here is the trailer of the film.
Here is a short synopsis of the film:
Shifting seamlessly between the highs and lows of his life in Montreal as an adult philanderer, and his coming of age in seventies Italy, Barney’s Version follows its hero as he seeks solace through marriage and professional success. His first wife, Clara (Rachelle Lefevre), is an unstable free spirit Barney meets through his best friend, the promising but self-destructive novelist, Boogie (Scott Speedman). When his relationship with Clara ends in tragedy, Barney returns to Montreal, establishes himself as a successful television producer running Totally Unnecessary Productions, and marries into society through the good graces and welcoming charms of The Second Mrs. P (Minnie Driver).
But Barney never knows when to leave well enough alone. At his wedding to Mrs P., he meets and falls madly for the true love of his life, Miriam (Rosamund Pike), who is destined to become his third wife. His dad (Dustin Hoffman) gives him a gun as a wedding present and, well, no need to spoil the plot, but when Barney is implicated in Boogie’s mysterious disappearance, the spectre of the past raises its ugly head.

Big stars to appear at the Toronto International Film Festival

The Toronto International Film Festival kicks off next month and the organizers have released the impressive list of guests scheduled to attend.

Scott Speedman negotiating his 'Vow'

Scott Speedman is in negotiations to join Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum in "The Vow," a romantic drama from Spyglass and Screen Gems.
Michael Sucsy, who helmed HBO's "Grey Gardens," is directing.
"Vow" tells the real-life story of a newlywed New Mexico couple (McAdams and Tatum) who are in a car crash. The wife is put in a coma, where she is cared for by her devoted husband. When she comes to without any memory of her husband or their marriage, the husband woos her and attempts to wins her heart again.
Speedman will play McAdams' former fiance, with whom she begins to rekindle a romance in her amnesiac state.
Sucsy is rewriting the script for the movie, which will begin shooting next month in Toronto.
Spyglass' Roger Birnbaum, Gary Barber and Jonathan Glickman are producing with Paul Taublieb.
Spyglass and Screen Gems will co-finance and distribute the film, which is the first time the companies have collaborated on a film project.
The Canadian actor, repped by WME and D/F Management, next appears in "Barney's Version" with Paul Giamatti, Dustin Hoffman and Rachelle Lefevre. The movie will screen at the Venice and Toronto film festivals. Speedman's other film credits include "The Strangers" and "Underworld: Revolution."

Monogamy after party & Coachella Music Festival

I've added photos of Scott from the recent 2010 Coachella Music Festival. On the final day of the concert event, he was seen hanging out with friend, Busy Phillips. I've also added photos of Scott with friend, Zachary Quinto, at the Monogamy after party in Tribeca Film Festival.
